Mark A. Erlich, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Mark A. Erlich, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the founder and director of Profiles & Contours at New York Plastic Surgery, P.C. and has extensive experience, training and board-certification in both facial plastic surgery and surgery of the head and neck. Dr. Erlich has received board-certification from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Erlich is on the faculty of 3 of New York's most prestigious medical schools and hospitals and is very involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, fellows and practicing surgeons. He is also involved in the teaching of anatomy of the head and neck at the Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut. Dr. Erlich attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed a fellowship at Einstein as well. He completed his residency under Drs. William Lawson and Hugh Biller at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Erlich is credited with introducing computer imaging to the field of plastic surgery in 1985 and has introduced several techniques to the field of facial plastic surgery. He has lectured extensively to other surgeons on these techniques in the United States and Europe and has been featured on television and in magazines in the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Salvatore Farruggio, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Salvatore Farruggio, M.D., F.A.C.S., graduated from New York Medical College before completing a total of 7 years of General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training. He completed his general plastic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital where he received advanced training in facial and body plastic surgery. As evidence of his professional skill and achievement, Dr. Farruggio is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has conducted and presented research on a variety of surgical and medical topics. Since going into private practice, Dr. Farruggio has pursued his natural talent for the understanding and performing of the complex surgery of the nose and has worked with Dr. Erlich for seven years.
Jon Turk, M.D.
Jon Turk, M.D., graduated with honors from SUNY-Downstate Medical College. He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and served as a Fellow in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious University Hospital of Bern in Switzerland. Dr. Turk is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He has been voted one of New York Magazine's Best Doctors for several years running and is dedicated to serving the community through efforts such as assisting victims of domestic violence with corrective facial surgery as part of the National Domestic Violence Project.
Richard Westreich, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Richard Westreich, M.D., F.A.C.S. is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He is currently the Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at the Long Island College Hospital, an Assistant Professor at the SUNY-Downstate Medical Center, and an adjunct clinical professor at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Westreich has written several papers on septoplasty and rhinoplasty techniques as well as the surgical correction of the deviated nose. He performs a specialized closed rhinoplasty technique that helps to straighten deviated noses in patients with nasal septal deviations and facial asymmetry. Dr. Westreich is listed in the Guide to America's Top Physicians.
Drs. Erlich, Turk, and Westreich all completed surgical residencies under the guidance of Dr. William Lawson at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
